Layne Dalfen

Layne Dalfen has been interpreting her own and her clients’ dreams for years. Her own interest in dreams stems from her early experience in  Freudian analysis where dream work was the primary tool.

She is certified in Gestalt Counseling and studied dreamwork at the Alfred Adler Institute. She is a member of the C. G. Jung Society and on the Board of Directors for the International Association for the Study of Dreams.  She also founded The Dream Interpretation Center, Montreal in 1997.

Radio
Layne has been a guest on over 100 radio shows across The  U.S. and Canada, besides her standing appearances in her home-town Montreal on  CJAD, where people call in and talk with her to find the meaning of their  dreams. She has been reviewed as a recommended guest on Bitboard.com, Launch  Radio, and MegaPrep.

TV
In The States, Layne appeared on FOX’s Good Day New York, WGN,  ABC, and NBC. She has been on FOX Morning News in Chicago several times. In  Canada, Layne has appeared on Discovery/Life Channel’s Health On The Line,  Global’s Morning Show, CTV’s Nationwide, Canada AM, CITY TV’s Breakfast  Television, and CTV’s Three Takes. She filmed a segment of”The Age of  E” television series for Wisdom TV (Vision TV in Canada), and is featured  in an upcoming documentary titled Seeing 911, a skeptic’s journey into  a very real prophecy filmed with Elevator Films for Vision TV. (March 10, 2009 at  10:30 PM ET). Layne also appears in the soon to be released US documentary  titled, Dream Symbols: How To Work With Them, as part of the series DREAMTIME  for PBS television.

What do our nighttime imaginings have to offer us? Discover for yourself with Layne Dalfen. Dalfen, a nationally recognized radio and television dream expert, and published author, will discuss a six-step process on how to decode those sometimes, strange images that come to us at night. The presentation and workshops will focus in on recognizing what a solution to an issue looks like when it comes in the form of a metaphor. Discover the root of problem solving in dreams with an eye toward stress release, giving you a newfound power of choice! The workshops that continue on during the week, will give group participants an opportunity to look deeper into the dreams and discover methods we can employ to create life-long change.

  • The truth about recurring dreams and why we have nightmares
  • Sexual dreams and how they are more likely to be about solving other problems

  • Work—how to improve or resolve career issues

This all-inclusive workshop is offered as a three days/two nights weekend workshop or a more  in-depth six day/five night weekday workshop.  The price includes your luxury accommodations, all meals, workshop sessions with Layne Dalfen, a daily yoga class, nature walks and time with our horses.
